lately for the past week i've been buzy studying and taking the SAT now that thats over my obsession and jealousy of things r off the chart!O~o
i mean ive been readin dragon books non stop visualizing every single details from the book X3 i got me so inspired that i decided to buy a drawing guide on how to draw dragons and other mythical beast step by step. as i looked through it, it sorta looked complicated for me but i understood it. i was amazed on how detailed the drawings were inside it made me feel jealous about it cuz im not that talented. Practice makes perfect like they say=P As i went to utube to look at examples of drawing tips i saw a vid of a person drawing a parrot except the person exaggerated alittle making it look toonish kinda a way i was amazed and filled with envy >~< i looked up the art style and found out it was called character capture... oooooo i want to draw like that so badly XD

Your most recent self-portrait drawing looks like it beats your stylized gallery a lot :D It seems like an improvement in terms of the human figure. I would definitely suggest you use this basic yet helpful guide on the human figure [link] as well as searching Andrew Loomis in the DA search function to get human anatomy head measurement for reference of limb lengths and all that jazz.

Also, if you put lots of effort and dedication into practice, you would definitely improve lots. I've seen an artist here whose works went from okay/cookie-cutter to insanely amazing within 2 years. Practice lots :)
